Have a lovely weekend. And may none of these meals ever appear in your kitchen.

I love Kitty. Her laugh is divine.
(I haven't opened the link just yet, but money's on ricotta cheese with sweet & low and vanilla.
I used to long to have some of my Mom's special treat. Heh.)
too late.
guess what's for dinner, honey?
I've seen these before . . . at my grandmother's house. (Oh, the horror of it!)
Lisa - that's a South Beach diet treat. Obviously, they've recycled a few things.
phd - NO! Say it ain't so, Yo.
Bee - I'm sure your grandma was a good person, despite this. You're welcome to use the link to this for Domestic Sensualist. Heh.
Well, I wasn't even in born in 1974, and now I've looked at those recipe cards, I'm extremely glad I wasn't!
My favourite one was the peach melba with the stuffed leopard - or whatever that thing was supposed to be.
Why did people have such crappy taste in the 70's and 80's? Can you tell me? I'm not saying that all of my 90's and 00's satorial choices have been fabulous, but I think I'll look back at pictures of myself from the present moment, and think I look quite good. I can't say the same thing when I see pictures of people from the 70's anmd 80's.
petrichoric - let's clarify this, shall we? After all, I just posted my wedding picture from the '80's earlier this week! ;-)
As to the broader question of bad taste of the two decades, I wish I knew. Let's revisit this in 2020, and examine our clothing and hairstyles from now. I often wonder if what I think is lovely, I'll look upon with similar disdain in a decade or two. It's a curious thing, isn't it? Some time I'll have to write a series of posts on the phenomenon. I look forward to your comments. :)
I lost it at Fish Balls. LOL LOL LOL!
Oh those were sublime!
Nice to see you at mine, let me know if you do plan to visit this corner of the universe...
