...attempts at pithy remarks along the way
Like all the best families, we have our share of eccentricities, of impetuous and wayward youngsters and of family disagreements.Fantastic Forrest - fun-loving me

Love the fantasies of the "origin myth!" Enjoy the movie...I can hardly wait to see it. Can you recite the entire text of the book from memory? I think I could if someone started me off.
And I had a conversation with my son just yesterday. he wants to see this movie this weekend. I said, "Didn't I read that to you?" He doesn't remember me reading it, but "we have the book on the shelf."
I know I read it to each of my three kids but I cannot remember the details. Or the reading of it. Sigh. Foggy stuff (that's what happens when you have a 3 yr old then twin babies). But I know I loved it.
Kathy - it is terrific, isn't it? :) I loved the book, and am fearful the movie will not live up to it. We wimped out on going tonight...everyone was pooped.
Phd in Yo - Like you, I don't remember the details, but I loved it. Sendak rulz. 3 year old with twin babies? Did I know this about you? That is impressive indeed!
I'm sorry I was a rotten friend and did not connect with you tonight...
Love the Photoshopped pic, by the way ;D
Steph, if you don't stop beating yourself up about that, I'm gonna come over there and tie your hands down.
Never fear; there are many movies in our future. And thanks for loving the photoshopping - Super Son said it was "creepy."
